Beth Craanen currently serves as the Senior Director of Global Editorial Operations at the American Chemical Society, Beth orchestrates the strategic oversight of diverse business units, steering a team of 20 members towards sustainable growth and fiscal responsibility. Prior to her current role, Beth served as the Assistant Director of Editorial Services at ACS and Director of Publications with The Electrochemical Society. At ECS, she played a pivotal role in transitioning the organization to a partnership with IOP Publishing, driving revenue growth and pioneering innovative Open Access business models. In addition to her role at ACS, Beth is finishing up her third year as Co-Chair of the Society for Scholarly Publishing Membership Committee.
