About me
Katy O’Neill is the Associate Director of Research and Technology Servcies at the Loyola Notre Dame Library in Baltimore, Maryland. Katy has co-authored a three year technology plan with a colleague from Loyola University Maryland’s Office of Technology Services and redefined financial management practices to provide the Library’s Board of Directors with information to better inform decision-making. She is currently working with colleagues to renovate library spaces in support of active learning priorities. Her current interests focus on engaging students in digital scholarship, transforming library spaces, services and user experiences, and leadership development. Katy started her career as a Human Resources and Organizational Development leader and has led large change initiatives in Fortune 500 companies like PepsiCo, Inc. and Fannie Mae. Katy earned her Master’s in Library Science from University of Maryland’s College of Information Studies and her Master’s in Business Administration from American University’s Kogod School of Business.
